Royal Pearl 68 – luxury yacht rental in Abu Dhabi

A superyacht charter in Abu Dhabi is one of the most memorable ways to see the city. You have a private yacht, your own captain and crew, and the Abu Dhabi coastline and skyline as your backdrop. This practical guide explains how to choose the right yacht, when to go, what is included and how the booking works – so you can plan with confidence.

What Counts as a Superyacht?

The word “superyacht” is used loosely in the charter world. In everyday use, it describes a large, premium yacht with a professional crew. In our fleet, three yachts sit at the top of the range:

  • Royal Pearl 68 – our flagship, for up to 16 guests, at AED 5,599 per hour.
  • Black Sapphire – for up to 12 guests, at AED 4,500 per hour.
  • Silver Arrow 62 – a sleek sport yacht for up to 14 guests, at AED 3,999 per hour.

All three have a 2-hour minimum. If your guest list is longer, our larger boats – such as the 75 ft Ocean Cat 75 for 25 guests or the Island Breeze 90 for 20 – give you more space with the same private service.

Step 1: Start with Your Guest List

The guest limit is the deciding factor. Each yacht has a fixed limit for safety, and the crew cannot take more guests than that number. Count everyone, including children, before you choose.

  • Up to 12 guests: any of our premium yachts will fit. The Black Sapphire offers the most personal setting.
  • 13 to 14 guests: the Silver Arrow 62 or the Royal Pearl 68.
  • 15 to 16 guests: the Royal Pearl 68.
  • More than 16 guests: consider our larger boats on the luxury yachts page.

Step 2: Match the Yacht to the Occasion

Proposals and anniversaries

For a proposal, privacy and atmosphere matter more than space. A smaller group on the Silver Arrow 62 or the Black Sapphire keeps the moment personal. Tell us your plan in advance so the crew can help with timing, and ask about decoration and a cake.

Milestone birthdays

The Royal Pearl 68 is a popular choice for a big birthday with close friends and family. Add decoration and a cake, bring your playlist for the sound system, and plan the cake moment for sunset. See our yacht party page for ideas.

VIP guests and client hosting

The Silver Arrow 62 has a bright main saloon next to the helm and a quieter lower lounge, which gives you space to talk in private. It is a natural choice for hosting partners or visiting executives. Learn more about corporate yacht charters.

Whichever yacht you choose, the service is the same: the yacht is private, the crew is there for your group, and the route is planned around your plans for the day. The main differences are the guest limit, the layout on board and the hourly rate.

Step 3: Choose the Right Time

Timing shapes the whole experience. A few things to keep in mind:

  • Sunset cruises are the most requested slot. A late-afternoon start lets you enjoy daylight, golden hour and the city lights in a single trip.
  • Evening cruises show the Abu Dhabi skyline lit up after dark and are cooler in the warmer months.
  • Daytime cruises are bright and lively, ideal for photos and relaxed family trips.
  • Season – the cooler months, roughly October to April, bring the most comfortable weather on deck. In summer, many guests prefer late-afternoon and evening trips.

Weekends and public holidays are busy, so book early if you have a fixed date.

Step 4: Decide How Long to Stay Out

Two hours is enough for a sunset cruise or a short celebration. If you plan to serve food, cut a cake and spend time on deck, three hours gives everyone time to relax. Remember that the price is per hour for the whole yacht, so each extra hour adds the hourly rate to the total.
